I'm so glad you stopped by for the blog hop today!
For my
Pink Paislee spring project, I created two little Easter eggs using foam eggs from the craft store. On one egg, I cut out a bunch of the little butterflies from the
Delightful paper from the Enchanting line and used pins to hold them onto the egg. (Before I started, I wrapped a ribbon around the middle and tied in a bow.)

The second egg is simply covered with the
border stickers from the Enchanting line sticker book and some pom pom trim! The little brown butterfly is a rub on from the
Enchanting Press Ons.

Very quick and easy to make! I just set them in a little tray with some of the chipboard pieces tucked in.
And we also thought it would be fun to get to know the Pink Paislee designers a bit better, so here is a tad bit about me....1.) Where did you grow up? Do you still live there? I grew up near Rapid City, South Dakota and lived there for 30 years. Shortly after my husband and I were married, he finished his 4 years in the military and landed a job in New York in computer networking, so here we are! I still miss home like crazy, but having been here in NY now for 8 years, it seems like my home to me now.
2.) What is a typical day like for you? The typical stay-at-home-mom stuff: get up at 7:30, get Taylor ready for school, feed her breakfast and get her on the bus, run errands, clean house, do laundry, play with Kati, scrapbook when/if I get time or most often scrap after they go to bed!
3.) What is your favorite fashion accessory? I love big earrings, namely my silver hoops.
4.) What is playing on your ipod right now? No Ipod for me yet!
5.) Name one television show that you MUST TIVO each week? I record Decorating Cents, Apprentice, American Idol, Survivor and a couple of other decorating shows on HGTV.
6.) What is your favorite movie of all time? Hmm...anything with Leonardo DiCaprio! I'm not a big fan of watching movies over and over, but I could watch him all day. ha
7.) What is your favorite Pink Paislee product? That’s a hard one! I seriously love it all, but I'll say the die cut papers!
8.) If you could only keep 1 scrapbooking tool what would it be? It would have to be my trimmer…something I use every time I create. (or my Cutterbees)
9.) If you didn't scrapbook what other activity would you spend time on? Either painting or quilting. I’d have to do something to let my creative juices escape!
10.) What advice would you give to someone who wants to start scrapbooking? Choose your favorite photos to scrap and don't feel pressured to scrap every photo you take! Start simple, and get inspiration from magazines or on-line to get started with a few ideas.
11.) What would you say your scrapbook style is today? I’d have to say girly and feminine, a little bit shabby chic, but I also love color too. Love to add stitching, distressing, swirls and “pretty” things to my pages and cards. I guess that’s what happens when you have 2 girls to scrap!

And before you go, I'd like to share another Pink Paislee layout with you..
Kati discovered our 3-way mirrors in the bathroom one day and looked so sweet doing her little poses. I had to quick grab my camera!!

This was created with a Pop Fashion transparency and journaling sticker, along with some of the Enchanting papers, chipboard letters, Fascinating rub ons and a piece of Captivating paper in the background. Love how all of the lines go together so well!
