Winter bliss...

First, an update on the kits, they are sold out! Thanks so much for your interest! Let me know if you are interested in another one, what you are looking for in a kit/class, etc. and I will be happy to put more together in the near future!

Next, I thought I'd post a couple of things that I made last year that never were shared with you all. These were all made with the Tinsel Town line by Pink Paislee for a class.
Joy card:
Snowflake card:
Here is the pattern if you'd like to make the snowflake card.
I added some of the Pixie Stix glitter by Pink Paislee on the edges to give a snowy feel.Present card:
Candy bar wrapper:
Happy Holidays card:
And this last one is an ornament made from one of those little chalkboards you can buy at a craft store. I painted the outside with creme paint, added a "Merry Christmas" rub on and some glitter to the edges (Pixie Stix by Pink Paislee). Then covered the chalkboard part with patterned paper and added some ribbons/buttons, stamps, etc. with a photo of my girls.
I'm busy, busy working on some new projects for Dream Street, Tattered Angels and Pink Paislee. I made something for Melissa Frances the other evening and was so excited to find out that they will be adorning the Melissa Frances booth at CHA with these ~ a bunch of them! Can't wait to show you!! It's torture not being able to share sometimes...ha!

Have a great weekend!

Warm wishes...

Thank you so much for your interest in the Cupid kits/class! I'm so happy with the outcome! I have about 6 kits left right now. If you are interested in one, see the post below. All kits that have been ordered so far have been shipped out! (Except Penny, yours is going out tomorrow!)

Michelle from Ireland...just wanted you to know that I have been trying to return your e-mail, but it keeps coming back to me saying "undeliverable". Do you have another email address I could try?

I made a set of Christmas cards for the Melissa Frances blog the other day, and I really like white lately as a base. It feels so crisp next to the other colors. I'm loving my Cuttlebug and bought a couple of new embossing plates. Even my girls love to play with that thing! Someone had asked me for ideas of simple, quick cards and I think just embossing, adding a pretty ribbon and a sentiment would be perfect for a holiday card.

Cupid kits are here! (UPDATE: Sold out!)

Morning! I'm so excited to share with you a new journey that I'm embarking on ~ creating kits and classes right here on my blog. For those of you who have been waiting for the Cupid line by Pink Paislee, it's here at my house, all packed up into kits and ready to ship!

What do you get?
These kits include the entire Cupid line: 6 double-sided papers including the Postcards, the canvas patches, bella brads, rub ons, die cuts, borderline stickers, and the stamp set that all go with this line....and I've chosen 2 alphas for the kit also, the red glitter Expressions and the Bubblegum alphas!

Cost?
The cost of this kit is $35, which includes shipping to the U.S. If you live outside of the U.S, please e-mail me, and I will do some research on the cost to ship to you.

Directions, samples?
Here is the fun part! With my previous kits, I included directions in the kits themselves, but this time, I decided to try something new. I have created a website that will host the class, it will be private to those who purchase the kits. There are photos and full directions for 2 layouts, 7 cards and one altered item with a pattern! You will receive access to the private blog once payment is received.

Here are a couple of samples...

(Just a Moment in Time)
I wanted to document a day that we spent together last summer.
This line doesn't have to be used for a "love" or "Valentine" page.
These are just a few samples/peeks of the class!
Please e-mail me at dflanders71@hotmail.com if you have any questions. We will be able to chat on the private blog if you have any questions about the samples. I won't have a kit each month, but am thinking about doing these a few times a year. Maybe Santa will grab one for your stocking. :)

Speaking of Pink Paislee...
Did you hear about their 12 days of Christmas blog party? Starting today on the Pink Paislee blog, there will be a give-away each day for 12 days ~ be sure to stop over and check it out!
