Prima Hybrid design team call!

I hope you have all had a chance to visit the new Prima Hybrid site! It's a wonderful resource if you are just starting out creating hybrid projects with many knowledgable digital people there as well, so pop on over if you have any questions! There is also a new design team call being held for a few more hybrid girls: here are the details. I've added a few things I've made for Prima Hybrid below, but to read more details on each item (and to see a couple more), please visit my PH gallery here. These are a combination of Prima "traditional" products such as chipboard, flowers, and ribbon and Prima Hybrid "digital" products like digital papers that I printed out. Also, stay tuned to the site for upcoming weekly tutorials and articles that will most certainly be of great information if you are considering creating a hybrid project!

Card Kit ready at TS...and more NEWS!

I always love the 15th of every month, that is when I get to share the goodies from TS! This month's card kit features American Crafts papers (super fun colors!) with a dose of Michelle's hand made felt pieces!!! They are awesome!! The kit comes with directions/photos for 5 cards. Take a peek:

And more fun news... Oh man...I've had to hold this in forever!!! I'm a Flower Girl! I was asked to join the new Prima website (PrimaHybrid.com) and their new team to create hybrid projects for them (Hybrid means combining physical product with digital products). Come on over and take a peek around. They also have physical items you can order if you'd like. We've been so busy creating! Yay!
One more note: Check out the new BellaScraps on-line magazine! I've also been asked to be a creative team member for this new magazine. There are monthly calls for work, so please submit! I will try to keep them posted here!
Happy Tuesday to you! ~Danielle~

Kit Previews!

Valentine's Day is coming up! I've been working on the most wonderful kit from Right at Home Scrapbooking with the new Making Memories Love Story papers and embellishments....and I LOOOOVE them! Did I say love? I mean LOVE!!! If you've been looking for these papers, grab one of these kits while you can! I heard through the grapevine that MM is all out and is not making any more of this line. Included are tons of fun embellies, clear acrylic shapes, tons of ribbons, felt goodies, buttons and heart brads, die cut shapes, MM rub ons, MM stickers, a clear acrylic file folder, a 7 Gypsies card holder, and new and unique card shapes that are so easy to make. All you do is just fold and decorate!! Here are a couple of sneak peeks for you. Check back often, as I will add to my sneaks here and there! Here is a link to the site for more information: Right at Home Scrapbooking.

This one is the front cover of a little card holder by 7 Gypsies in the kit (I also made little note cards to put inside):

And this one is just extra fun with the kit, not really a card. But I saw these on a message board that I belong to, and just HAD to make one! These are little Hershey candy bars covered in the cute paper and topped with a die cut scalloped circle. The rub ons worked perfectly for this!
All of the instructions for these projects and more will be in the kit when purchased as well. Thank you so much for all your nice comments, I really do appreciate them... and you taking the time to visit me! Hugs! ~Danielle~

Fairy Tale Book Ends..

(Will be in Paper Trends Magazine's Aug/Sept 2008 issue.)

I was asked to alter a wooden crown and shoe for Say It With Letters, an on-line store that sells a huge variety of wooden items! Here is the site if you'd like to check out what the other girls on the team did! They will be posted all this week, so keep checking back! When I first saw them, I thought of fairy tales and decided to use these wooden pieces as book ends for my daughter Kati's room! Her room is pink and green with other pastel colors as accents!

Supplies used: Wooden crown and shoe from SIWL, die cuts and rub ons by Fancy Pants-Crush line, Jenni Bowlin paper, Wrights ric rac, gems from The Beadery, and the letters are Tim Holtz- Grungeboard painted white! Love the Grungeboard too! I painted the edges of the wooden items white before adding the paper.

Do you like to alter? If so, link me to your favorite altering project you've done..I'd love to see! Have a good day! ~Danielle~

2008!

Happy New Year everyone! I can't believe it's 2008 already! How time flies when you're having fun creating! LOL Here are a few things I've been making lately. The first is a layout for Create My Keepsake...I'm re-applying for their design team, since I was only on the kit club for 3 months, I'd sure love to stay on there. Love it there! We had to use 4 different products from one manufacturer, so looking through my stuff..well, it had to be Fancy Pants! I have so many of their products! Here I used paper (the background paper and striped paper), felt, pin, and rub ons. And there is a little bit of Queen and Co. felt and Cherry Arte paper as well. There is a lot of competition..hope I make it. Here is a link to their call if you are interested: DT Call. It is a great place to hang out!

This one is an "I {heart} piano" Piano Practicing Chart for a call that I submitted to. I painted a cookie sheet black and attached magnets to the numbers (minutes played) and the little notes, so they can be moved around! All papers are Love Elsie, sparkly letters are by Doodlebug and ribbon is Li'l Davis Jenni Bowlin collection.

Here are a couple of key chains made for a call as well!

(Look for these in Paper Crafts' Crafting With Kids issue 2008!)
Only about 10 more days and I'll be able to share my big scrappy news! Woohoo! I'm not so good at secrets! LOL Have a good night! ~Danielle~
