Home again, home again!

Hey, everyone! I'm back from Connecticut and really had such a great time, all of the ladies were so friendly and welcoming! It was about a 2 1/2 hour drive for me and a gorgeous one. You wouldn't believe the view on the Taconic Parkway. This is exactly what it looked like, I'm not kidding you! The trees were in full peak and the colors were amazing.
Thank you to everyone at Lasting Memories for a wonderful experience! Next time (I hope I can come back!), I plan to stay longer, crop and make a whole weekend out of it. We did quite a few techniques on our pages, including machine stitching....yes, gotta have the stitching! I would be one of those croppers bringing my sewing machine. :) Here are some of the fun ladies working on adding the details...And a huge thank you to Nancy for all her help while I was there!
I have just a FEW of each kit left and wanted to offer them to my blogger friends! So, if you see anything you like here, just shoot me an e-mail at dflanders71@hotmail.com and let me know which kit you are interested in.

Pink Paislee Layout kit (2 left) - $35 includes shipping - US only please. Includes:
2 sheets of cardstock, red and grey
Twilight Postcards paper

Red Expressions glitter alphas
Mistletoe Borderline stickers
Amber Road stamp set
Mistletoe stamp set
Mistletoe brads
Twine, floss, ribbon, patterns and instructions for 4 layouts.

(Here are the pages we made with this kit.)This was Kati's first candycane! She sat and quietly devoured the entire thing while we were putting up the tree one year. She looked like she was enjoying every little piece!
These photos were taken on our 10th anniversary. Hubby took me out for the day and Kati came along. I adore these pics and snapped them while they were checking out a water fountain together. I created tags on this page and made my own ribbon flower.
This one has a tag also that lifts up also and journaling is underneath. This was Kati last year, she was a witch and then at the last minute found a crown and decided to be a princess, so I'm glad to capture these photos before she changed. Can you tell she was putting a spell on me? ha
(paint, mist and Twilight stamp set not included)

Thank you for coming to the Lasting Memories Crop. I had a lot of fun. You are truly a very talented designer. The classes were GREAT! I took all of the classes and loved every one of them. You taught us soooo many creative techniques. Your teaching style made everyone feel comfortable; regardless of their experience. You were so patient, kind and generous. I learned so much! Thank you. I certainly don't want to forget to mention the great raffle prizes that you gave away. I think the most popular technique was sewing on paper using the sewing machine. After you left, we continued to make the adorable goodie bags. We were hooked! There was a lot of talk about buying a sewing machine. Some of the ladies were so inspired by what you taught us that they started making Christmas goodie bags. I look forward to seeing you at another Lasting Memories crop. Thanks again for everything!
