Make It Monday: Vellum Overlays.

If you know me, you'll know how much I love the soft look of vellum and layering! So today's Make It Monday video at Papertrey Ink is all about Vellum Overlays. I love cards I see in the stores that have vellum overlays, they look so professional and elegant. I'll show you how to make this card, and a few other samples that I've done recently with different ways to use vellum as an overlay!

You can create a vellum panel like I did here on just a portion of your card, you can do a vellum panel that covers your whole card like these. Or you can use vellum to create an overlaid sentiment like this or overlaid on die cuts like this. So many ways to use it as an overlay! Hope you can play along this week! You can watch the video and enter the contest at Nichole Heady's blog. I've also create a VELLUM Pinterest board if you need more ideas.

AND...I would love to know if there is anything you want to see in a Make It Monday video? Always curious to know what you are looking to learn from me! :) Thanks, sweet friends! So glad you stopped by. Always love to hear from you!
Danielle

Hi, Danielle. I'm from South Africa and I have been following your blog by e-mail for a while now. Your cards are absolutely beautiful and we share a love for working with vellum!!! I wanted to watch your video on PTI last night, but I had a problem and could not view it - hope it's going to work tonight!!
If you've got a minute or two you can hop on over to my blog, kaartjiekreatief.blogspot.com and have a look at my cards with vellum. (I love to do some of my MFT flowers with vellum - think you might like that too.)

TFS your talent with all of us - I always enjoy my visits here!!

Greetings from Africa!!
