These colors make me smile...

Here are a couple more cards made with the Bayberry line by Pink Paislee and the Artisan tape! I love these colors for spring! I seem to have a thing for yellow lately.

On the first card, I used the tape as sort of a border (the yellow strip). Punched out some butterflies from the houndstooth paper and used the negative of the paper. This paper is from the 6x6 paper pad, perfect size for a card. I used one of the Bayberry Cottage die cuts on the top for a fun little accent.

On the second card, I folded the Artisan tape into a flower! It sticks as you fold it, so it was really easy to create. The background is embossed with the Swiss Dots folder (Cuttlebug) and I used the Bayberry line again here, along with some of the new sticker letters and a houndstooth large alpha for the i.

I know some of you saw my crepe paper flowers that I made for the Melissa Frances booth at CHA and are patiently waiting for me to post a tutorial, so I'm going to work on that for you today and will be back soon with it, I promise. Can't wait to show you, I've been holding this idea in for a month or two now. lol

Thanks so very much for all your kind comments!!

Danielle

Very sweet! I have a thing for yellow too lately, and I've also been combining it with other bright colours with red, orange, lime and turquoise :)

So lovely, Dani. The pleated paper flower is gorgeous! And I love how you used the houndstooth paper with the "negative" butterflies. It's amazing! ♥♥ Kay
