A simple card here made with the Movers & Shakers Sentiments stamps on the kraft cardstock! I blended in some Funky Town paper (chevron) and the new Aqua Mist patterned paper.
I think brads are making a come back! They remind me of the whole confetti trend, which I love, so fun and festive! I plan to make more fun things with brads...
Brilliant card:
Stamps: Movers & Shakers Sentiments
Ink: Classic Kraft, True Black
Paper: Pure Poppy cardstock, yellow cardstock, Aqua Mist patterned paper,
Funky Town patterned paper

I used the new Framed Out #1 stamp set in the center and also cut a frame in half to make the brackets! Celebrate is from the Think Big Favorites #13. "Making years count" is from the Movers & Shakers Sentiments.

Danielle, very nice "guy" cards. I love how you incorporated Aqua Mist in the first card -- my favorite PTI color. You've shown how Aqua Mist can be for guy cards too.
Love these cards with the fun brads and misting!
these are just LOVELY!
I was thinking this very thing today! My FIL has a birthday in March and I am d-r-e-a-d-i-n-g the task of making his birthday card...is that wrong? I dunno, manly/boyish cards are SOOOOO hard when all you wanna do is put lace and flowers all over them. ;o)
Thanks for the inspiration. :o)
Hi Danielle, Your cards are great! Guy cards are hard to make. I just posted one that I made today on my blog. Please check it out, it was simple but the paper made it great.
Sorry it was only removed because it was the same message as above.
These look awesome! Guy cards can be a struggle, lol! Love how you cut the square to make brackets... so clever!
I love your cards;-))))Gerlinde from Vienna
I'm with you....masculine cards are not as easy for me. Maybe because we make so many girlie frilly ones. Love your cards!
Well done Danielle! You hit the mark with these!
Great masculine cards. I've accumulated some manly stamps over the last year, but I find myself using my dies for manly cards as I'm making tons of them throughout the year for birthdays for my husbands coworkers.
Love that celebrate card!
GORGEOUS cards! Love them all! You do everything so well...always inspired! xx :)
Love ya,
K
It's my fiance's birthday today and I was wondering what card to give him. You are right it's easier to make a girly one. Love what you've done with the card.
Thanks for sharing.
