Join Kelly Purkey in another installment of her popular Sketchbook class! Sketchbook 4 is a four week class filled with fresh sketches, easy instructions, beautiful examples, and lots of fun. This class is designed to be used at any time and over + over again when you need inspiration.
Sketchbook is different from any other sketch class out there because Kelly and the contributors offer design tips and detailed explanation of what makes a page work. It's more than sketches - they’ll deliver valuable pointers for creating great layouts.

By the end of the class, you'll have a complete sketchbook of 12 original sketches, 38 layouts, and an ADDITIONAL 38 sketches based on those creative pages. All the examples are brand new layouts, exclusive to this class... you won't see them anywhere else! You will be receiving an example layout from Kelly for each of the sketches, along with two example layouts from a Studio Calico Design Team member and some of your favorite SC Guest Designers.

I have a spot in the class to give away! Please leave a comment and tell me what are your favorite types of paper crafting classes you've taken, or what kind of classes you are most interested in?

I'd be interested in a more extensive (in other words-not just getting started) Silhouette Class. ;)
Thanks for the chance to win!

I took a class by Suzie Ratto (back in the day) on Creative Lettering and it was a great class because she had a great manner of teaching. I've also taken classes on paste embossing that I really enjoyeed.
I like taking classes where I learn a new technique, not just get a packet of pre-made items to put together. I can do that at home. There are so many techniques that I don't know how to do and would love to learn@!

First I have to say I love your blog header. I don't think I ever noticed it before.

Oh this class sounds like exactly something I need to take. i love sketches but really need to learn all the ins and outs of them and how to create my own look.

I've seen this class mentioned before and it definitely appeals to me. I love classes that talk about structure or design tips, and I love classes that inspire me to get a whole lot of pages completed!

I took Sketchpad with Kelly and it was really inspiring to see how different designers work with the sketches.

Sketchbook is different as it has interactive and forum session. I believe it'll be even more inspiring to see the takes of the sketches from the other members in the class.

Well I'm still a newbie at scrapbooking so I'm currently absorbing techniques and tips to know my style and to scrap more efficiently so any of the scrapbook classes would be helpful.

Thanks for the chance to win.

I took Shimelle's Pretty Paper Party, and I loved it! Favorite class so far!

Although I haven't done a scrapbook yet I would love to get design tips. I'm sure many of the ideas presented could be used on cards. Who knows it might even inspire me to dig out the photos and start scrapping.

Ooooohhhh....thanks for the chance to win! I'd love to learn some new "how to spiff your pages up" techniques...cute new embellishments to hand make, new ways to use supplies on hand, ways to incorporate stamping into scrapbooking, etc.
Basically I just want a "How to Copy Everything Danielle Flanders Does" Class. That would work for me. ;)

I loved Jennifer McGuires Inspiration Showcase class and IMHO it was perfect. Lots of great techniques combined with several takes on how to use them. So theory and practice combined. Which is what this class sounds like so I am eager to join! Especially since I haven't scrapped in ages and I have a brand new baby to scrap for.

Right now I'm taking the online class with Tim Holtz, it would have to be my favorite so far. Or maybe it was the classes I took with Wendy Vechhi. No two classes are the same, so it's hard to pic a fave. Thanks for the chance to win.

Unknown said...

I'm taking a mixed media class starting tomorrow to make an art journal, but I am really happy it is focused on techniques. I'm loving Tim's class, but my favorite class I've already finished was Jennifer McGuire's Inspiration Showcase online class because it also focused on techniques, which is my favorite thing to learn!

I would love to learn why some layouts work and others don't. I love learning techniques and how to use the products I have or why I need them (don't usually need much persuasion that I need more stuff though). I am loving Tim's class and learning so much at the moment.

I go to a monthly Stampin up class with my local demonstrator, the other ladies are a lot of fun. I do love video tutorials where the tutor tells about their thought process rather than playing music with subtitles of what they are doing. Thanks for a chance to win a spot in class.

I am so hoping to win a spot in this class! Thanks for a chance! My favorite types of classes are the ones that involve plenty of video instruction, such as those at Online Card Classes by Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner. I absolutely loved the Stretch your Kit Class over at SC. That was the first "scrapbook" class I have taken—all the rest have been "card" classes. Planning to take Kerry Bradford's Sihouette class, too.

I haven't really taken many paper crafting classes - most of the classes I've taken have been more artsy types of classes - art journaling, canvas art, that sort of thing. I really do need some help in my scrapbooking though!!

Unknown said...

I have taken a number of different classes but most of them have been to enhance my knowledge of my PSE and digital templates, even though I am predominantly a paper scrapper. Loved the font and typography classes the most, also took Kristina's summer card camp so I guess that qualifies under paper crafting!

Jill said...
