Recently, I was inspired by this image I found on Pinterest by Heather Bullard. I loved the teal of the bucket with the brown on the crate, so I was excited to incorporate those two colors into a springy, flowery card - complete with a little bucket full of flowers just like the inspiration piece...

Let me show you how I made this card with the Garden Variety stamps and dies by Papertrey Ink. I also used the Seed Packet die (envelope) and the Seed Packet Frame die.
First, I used the Seed Packet die to cut the little envelope, folded it and adhered the flaps.

Next is the Seed Packet Frame. I cut a white center out also to stamp the tiny stems and flowers from the Garden Variety stamp set. I used Berry Sorbet for the flowers and Simply Chartreuse for the stems, also added some Vintage Cream ink around the edges to soften the white a bit.

I cut the tools and bucket out, then stamped them with Classic Kraft ink and Aqua Mist ink. Some of the edges were inked with Vintage Cream ink to tone down the white edges.
Here are all the little parts before the card was assembled. I found a Crate Paper die cut flower I thought I'd use. I stamped the "Farm Home" from the Garden Variety set with Dark Chocolate ink and cut it out.

Now the seed packet is assembled with all of its little parts... I popped the frame and bucket up with dimensional adhesive.
Now I need to add a base to my card. Using the Pinterest inspiration piece, I liked the brown color of the crate that the bucket of flowers was sitting on, so I used kraft cardstock for the background. I used Fresh Snow ink to stamp some little mini flowers on the kraft paper to add depth to my card. Then I added a Classic Kraft button and twine. Last is the finished seed packet on top.
I adhered the tools inside the pocket, but you could add money or a gift card to a nursery for your favorite gardener. Or you could add a tag with a saying inside the pocket as well. So many uses for this pocket!
We are finished!
