Framed Out #12...

Papertrey Ink is starting its monthly countdown once again to share peeks of the new products coming out on the 15th! Today I get to introduce Framed Out #12 stamps and dies. OH BOY, you are gonna love these! Take a peek at this adorable mini polaroid style frame and herringbone stamp to match...

Can you imagine framing mini photos? Seriously? So cute!

I die cut several frames with Papertrey Ink cardstock and stamped them with the frame stamp to give them the cute chevron design. Inks I used are Lavender Moon, Aqua Mist, Harvest Gold and Fine Linen. Then punched out my own matching confetti with the same cardstocks. The little tiny hearts are punched out of a new die set coming out this month called "Tremendous Tags". These are just the little centers of some of the larger tags! Added a brown button to finish it off and rustic twine.

Next I used only the stamp (not the die) on Classic Kraft cardstock with Classic Kraft ink and Fresh Snow ink for the centers. I used a Tremendous Tag heart die, Pure Poppy button and some October Afternoon washi tape. Sentiment is from the Framed Out #12. Really simple card to make!

Last, I made a little pocket for the frame. I cut a piece of vellum, folded it in half and adhered the side and bottom, trimmed it up to match the size of the frame. And guess what I discovered? One of the new Tremendous Tags die cuts fits perfectly inside!

For ink on the frame, I used Enchanted Evening with Aqua Mist cardstock for the tag. Again the tape here is by October Afternoon and I used the Strawberry Patch stamps and dies to stamp the bottom and cut the felt berry!

Ready for the best news? The Framed Out #12 stamp set is only $5! Visit Betsy for sneak peeks of Heart-2-Heart #12 and Happy For You, and Nichole also!

happy in my heart...

Hello! First today, I wanted to show you a little card that I made last month that I forgot to post. I am so loving the Papertrey Ink products (if you couldn't tell!) and am having so much fun creating with them. When you try something new, it's like a breathe of fresh air. That's how I feel with stamping and die cutting lately! I am having fun with it and it's making me very happy! :)
On this card, I used some Papertrey ink felt to make a little house and decorate some Maya Road chipboard. I used the Wonderful Words die for "happy" and added the touch of red with stitches. The red words on the bottom are the "Wonderful Words Additions" stamps.
 Happy in My Heart card:

STAMPS: Wonderful Words Additions
PAPER: cardstock - Papertrey Ink, patterned paper - Pink Paislee
INK: Pure Poppy
DIES: Wonderful Words
OTHER: chipboard - Maya Road, twine - Pink Paislee, button and felt - PTI,
Cuttlebug embossing folder - dots, Melissa Frances pearl.

Next is a card made with the Fruit Fusion stamps. I was playing around with the Edgers #3 dies with red cardstock and found that if you don't cut all the way through the ends (make the cardstock just a touch longer than the die), you get a nice pocket, perfect for tucking in a tag...

This is the new Fruiti Tutti paper! Cute, huh? I stamped the little criss-crossies onto the red cardstock with the Fruit Fusion: Pear set. The wording is Fruit Fusion: Berry. One tip: when stitching on the felt, it stretches the felt a bit and makes it not quite straight....I'll have to remember that next time. It was difficult to make it look straight on this card. I cut another word out of the Wonderful Words die and used a pin to "underline" it. :)

You're Berry Sweet card:

STAMPS: Fruit Fusion - Berry and Fruit Fusion: Pear PTI
PAPER: red, white and green cardstock, Tutti Fruiti paper - PTI
INK: Pure Poppy and True Black - PTI
DIES: Wonderful Words and Edgers #3 - PTI
OTHER:  felt, button and twine - PTI, machine stitching.

Hope you are having a great day,
