Often times we center everything right in the middle of our project. Why not mix it up and take the focal point right to the corner of your card instead? My challenge for you today is to create a project where the corner(s) is/are the focal point!
On these cards, I've used Beautiful Brushstrokes stamps in the corners and then used Soft Stone ink with some different stamp sets to add depth to the center of the card...subtle depth.
To watch my Make It Monday tutorial video and play along in the challenge for your chance to win a Papertrey Ink gift certificate, visit Nichole's blog. You do not have to use flowers in the corner. Use whatever stamps you have on hand: balloons, stars, maybe a repeated sentiment in the corner? Then add a neutral color in the center for depth.
I'm excited to see how you will interpret this challenge to create a colorful corner on your card. (Those are envelopes in the background stamped with Polkadot Basics III stamps. I cut one of the dots off the strip, so I could stamp them more randomly.) It's a simple challenge this week, with a broad range of ideas you can try with it, have fun!

Danielle, these cards are so beautiful! You've really inspired me today and I need to pull that set out and make a few cards today. Thanks for sharing.
Love, Love, Love your cards! You are the best at making instructional videos . Your videos are alway paced at the speed where I can take all the information in, you clearly show all the products used to complete the card, and you show all the techniques you use to complete the card. Thank you Danielle!
These are sooooo pretty! I literally caught my breath when the page opened up. TFS.

These are all stunning!
Wow. These cards are so pretty! Love the color combination!
Danielle, this card is so pretty. I am assuming that the Beautiful Brushstrokes stamp set is from Papertry Ink, however, I can not find it in their store. Can you help?
Kristen,
The Beautiful Brushstrokes stamp set is sold out, I'm so sorry. It was in one of their Make It Market kits that come out every other month. Some of the other floral stamp sets that I love also are Mini Blooms, Bigger Blooms, Embellished Elegance, Embroidered Blooms and Sending You. But there are a ton more sets that would work for this look also. Thank you for your nice note.
Danielle
Hello ...Oh man, I'm late to the party! But just wanted to stop by & say your cards are gorgeous. Anna :)
