No, not a sick bug, thank goodness! lol A baby bug. We are done having babies, but I love to create things for others who are having them. My cousin Megan just had a baby girl..her first child, so I made this quilt for her little Josie...Love the white chenille fabric! I added a silky material to the back in a soft green color that matches the front.
And with some of the scraps, I created a card for the next challenge at Card-a-licious (should be up soon). The challenge is to make a card with pink, a heart, a ribbon and a button. The ribbon is tucked under the material at the bottom. I added some Lullaby paper to the background of the card (by Dream Street) and a Lullaby rub on saying to the fabric. It's a little messy looking, but has a homespun feel to it.
I am currently working on another quilt similar to this, but with boy colors. It will be up for sale on my blog in a few days if you are interested! Will be back soon with peeks from my next card kit! Have a wonderful day,
