Doing the happy dance! I'm so thrilled that March is finally here and the 2 coldest months in N.Y. are now done and OVER! I can't wait for all this snow to melt. Spring fever has surely set in!
I have so much to share with you today, not even sure where to begin...let's see...
Today is my day to make a blog post at the Pink Paislee blog again. I created a layout this time and a card using up my scraps from the layout. You can read it HERE! This layout was created with everything Pink Paislee with exception of the twill ribbon and the bling at the bottom. I used a lot of the new lines, Enchanting, Fascinating, Fetching and even some Pop Fashion. Kati looooves to wear dresses! These pictures were taken last fall and ever since she has been asking to wear dresses all winter, but it's just been too darn cold. I can't wait to see her in them again this summer.
I added a Pop Fashion Press Ons butterfly to this gorgeous flower...boy was I nervous, but it turned out cute and went on perfectly!
I loved the die cut paper that I used on the layout and just can't bring myself to throw away the scraps! So I created a quick card with them. There is no real stitching involved on this one, I just cut the paper to resemble a pocket and attach the rub ons to look like stitches. I curled a piece of wire around a small paintbrush and added it to my butterfly chipboard, then tucked it into the pocket with some money for the receiver! Quick and easy!
The next layout (This is Our Story) is also created with Pink Paislee, mostly the new Captivating line. I wanted to do a lot of journaling on this one to tell the story of how my husband and I met and where we were up until today. I think it will be fun for my girls to read when they get older. Some Pop Fashion Press Ons were used to frame my title.
Love these little chipboard pieces. All of the new lines by Pink Paislee are gorgeous, if you haven't gotten any yet, you definitely should! I promise you won't be disappointed! =) I better stop there for now. Have a happy day,
