a beach mini...

Today I decided to scrap a few of our pics from Maine while they were fresh in my mind! The Play Date line by Jenni Bowlin was perfect for my beach photos!
I used the Silver Damask rub on right on the Jenni Bowlin chipboard book cover, with a JB label sticker, JB beach journaling card and some new yellow JB butterfly stickers.

To keep it cohesive, I used lots of butterflies throughout and a beach journaling card on each page spread, along with a red, blue and yellow color scheme.

I have a ton of photos and can't wait to add more. What I love about these little minis is that there are lots of pages, so you can fit a bunch of pictures in one book (and it's a small space to fill, which is great for me - I'm not all that great with filling up large spaces).

Oh, and did you hear that Jenni Bowlin is working with Ranger to come out with stamp pads, paint daubers and inks that match her lines? Super cool. (photo from Jenni Bowlin's blog)

That's it for me today! Be sure to share the things you create with Jenni Bowlin products in their gallery!

summer, please don't end just yet...

I love summer. It's my favorite season. I have never been a beach/water person until we moved to New York and started going to Maine every summer. I can't get enough of it! Maybe we'll get a home there some day. It's so pretty there. Finally got around to posting some of our beach photos from our trip to Maine on Facebook if you want to take a peek.
I used a fun action on these 2 photos called Triqui Lomo, which I found here! It's a free download if you are interested. Hope you enjoy the pics,

nothing more comfortable than family...

Are you looking for a fun project to display in your home, or a gift to make for someone? Grab one of these kits and get an early start on your Christmas presents! I created this Family Printer's Tray kit for Right at Home Scrapbooking and it is now available. You get everything you see here, plus full directions on how to make it and patterns too! The printer's tray was a blast to alter. I used Pink Paislee's Queen Bee line along with Bo Bunny, Maya Road, Jenni Bowlin, Prima's burlap leaves and you get some gorgeous trims and pearls too.

When I create a home decor project, I always want to make things that I would actually hang in my home, therefore I love the elegant feel of this color combination! Would be really pretty with fall colored photos as well.
Visit the link HERE to purchase. You will see a button on the right of that page that says, "Add to Cart". Or feel free to call the store at 508-695-9290. You can send an email to r.scrapbooking@verizon.net with any questions.
