The Pink Paislee blog is also doing a countdown to Christmas with the "12 Days of Ornaments", so be sure to check it out each day to see what the design team has been up to! We created several hand made ornaments for charity and will share a couple of them each day with directions. Today was my day to post. I created a little decorative box ornament and an icicle ornament.
This little box was just an inexpensive box from the craft store that I covered in Pink Paislee - Tinsel Town paper. I found a holiday pick for $1 that already had the little pink and silver presents/ornaments/greenery on it, and just attached it to the top of the box with some pom pom trim underneath. (I lightly went over the greenery with white paint to tone it down a bit.) I added a rub on tree and Joy rub on from the Tinsel Town rub on set to the front. This would be really fun holding a gift inside and hung on the tree!
For this ornament, I found an icicle pattern on-line and simply printed out the pattern, traced it onto the back of the Jack Frost paper, cut it out and folded it up for this icicle ornament. I filled it with some candies to add a little bit of weight to it and used a to/from rub on on the 5th Avenue paper and tied it shut with twine.
Edited to add: HERE is the pattern I used for the Icicle Box Ornament! I printed it out a little bit larger than the pattern here.

Your tree looks just like mine - But mine just about drove me crazy yesterday! I can't get all of the lights to work, Aghhh!!! Maybe it's time for a new tree.
