I Believe...

Christmas is nearing and there is still sooo much to do! Are you all done with your shopping? I am not. There are just some people I have NO idea what to get, know what I mean? Those loved ones who have everything...yes, you know who you are! tee hee

Hmm...let's see... I've been a busy little elf creating things for the Melissa Frances catalog with some new papers, which I can't share yet. But I can't wait to show you. Today I have some cards on the Dream Street Paper blog. You should be sure to stop by and check out the site every few days this month especially, because the team has been busy creating lots of things for you to see and be inspired by! My assignment this month was to create a few cards with the Wonderland Collection, which I absolutely loved. Red is my favorite color and combined with pink and blue.. oh my! Here they are:I had to get out my Cuttlebug and emboss a little bit on the white cardstock and the foam snowflake on this one. The rub on is by Melissa Frances.
The bow on this one is just a piece of wide ribbon that I tied in a loose knot. I added white paint to the clear snowflake and another foam snowflake. The little red tag is by Making Memories, rub on by Melissa Frances again.
The striped paper reminded me of a candy cane, so I got out my Doodlebug candy cane box that came with buttons, flowers and such and traced it for my card template. The metal star is by Li'l Davis, chipboard letters are Dream Street and the white scallops are Bazzill Just the Edges (love these!).
And last but not least, a little card I made for fun yesterday. Just for me. I drew the body and head of the reindeer myself, raised the head up on pop dots and tied a little scarf around it. Papers are Camden by Collage Press, chipboard "antlers" and ornament are Basic Grey - Offbeat, and another rub on by Melissa Frances. (Most of these things were from the Nov. kit at CreateMyKeepsake.com.) I do think he could have been a little taller and skinnier, but oh well. He's a healthy little reindeer!
Thanks so much for stopping by and all your kind comments! I know I have more to share, just trying to remember what all I've made lately. I'll be back with more soon! =) Blessings,
