Back from the beach...

Hey there! Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. We were gone to Hampton Beach for the past week, but we ended up coming back a day early because of the rainy weather. I was so bummed that we only had 2 good days at the ocean! I'll get my pictures uploaded and share some soon. We did a lot of eating out (yummy lobster rolls!), playing in the arcade, playing cards and listening to the bands that they had each night. My niece came and stayed with us for a few days while we were there. I'm glad to be back home and get back into our groove. Two more weeks and my parents will be here to visit!

It seems strange trying to get into the Christmas spirit, but Danelle Johnson from Creative Cafe asked me to create a few holiday things for CHA and I couldn't resist! I love their products so much! Here is a page with their new die cut papers, very glittery and pretty and they come in red or green. Actually everything here is CC, including the papers, journaling sheet, felt words, buttons, glittery brads and stickers! I wanted the page to sort of look like a present all wrapped up, so I added the twine around the whole page. The journaling talks about how it was so hard for me moving here and spending many Christmases without my family, but now we have our own little family and I've loved creating new traditions with them and seeing the magic in their eyes!

This one is a quick card made with Creative Cafe papers, ribbons, felt flowers, buttons and some of the new rub ons. I cut the curly ribbon into strips to create the tree.
And here are some little gift bags that I made with their felt bags, ribbons, buttons and brads...
I have lots, lots more to share (Creative Cafe, Pink Paislee and Dream Street), so come back soon!

Hi, I saw your blog and was reading your profile. I see that you are a SAHM like I am but also are a part of the exciting scrapbook design scene. Now that my kids are all in school, I am looking to start a career as a graphic designer. I know you are probably pretty busy, but I'd love to hear how you got to be a part of those creative teams.

Thanks,
Jen Addotta
