Finally!

Some scrappy things to share...phew! I was going crazy not being able to show you anything I've done recently. I'll have a TON more to share soon.

Label Tulip's next monthly kit has gone up for sale this evening, check it out HERE! It contains lots of fun travel things inside for all your vacation photos, but I love that you don't have to use it for travel. Donna Downey is the guest designer this month, so definitely pop over to see what she created too. Here are a few things I made with the main kit...

Fun Times Ahead
This page was for a challenge to scrap an exciting moment in your life. I decided to scrap these photos of us heading to our trip to see Yellowstone and Jackson Hole, WY, one of my favorite vacations EVER! Photos are of us in the car...look at Kati... she was so small!

Journaling reads, "Who knew our trip to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole, WY would be one of the best trips we’ve ever had? Who knew we would go white water river rafting (scary but amazingly FUN!), horseback riding in the beautiful mountains (Taylor rode her own horse at age 6), ride on the gondola up 4,000 feet to Rendezvous Mtn. to look out over Snake River Valley and the Grand Tetons, and see Yellowstone’s bubbling hot springs and geysers? Who knew we would see Sigourney Weaver while shopping in Jackson Hole? Who knew we would play cards and visit with family, eat grandma’s delicious chicken and dumplings, swim in the prettiest stone pool at the top of the mountain? This trip was definitely one of the best vacations I’ve EVER had. 6-06"I used the little die cuts in the kit for road signs and stitched poles for them with black thread. I created a little road from the brown cardstock and stitched the center of the road with yellow thread.

This next page was done for a scraplift of Amy Coose, whose page was chosen this month! Be sure to upload any of your creations in the Label Tulip gallery (not necessarily using their kits) to be in the running for this! You do get a gift certificate to the shop if one of your pages is chosen for the monthly lift. (Click HERE and scroll down to see the member lifts.)Journaling reads, "Ever since I purchased my Canon Rebel camera, I have really become addicted to photography and learning more about it. My kids run when they see the camera coming! It's not that often that I'm in the pictures, so one day I decided to try and get some pictures of myself in the mirror, mostly for a new avatar on-line. Ha! Let me tell you, it's not easy getting a self portrait! But I'm glad I tried and the results turned out fun. I definitely want to learn more and grow with my photography skills. I think I enjoy it JUST as much as scrapbooking the actual photos themselves! You won't find a shortage of photos in my family! And now maybe I'll try to get in the pics more too."

Next up is a page about our home. I wanted to come up with a unique idea for the stamp that was in the kit, so I stamped it onto the brown cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then I cut it into a pocket shape and tucked one of my favorite close-up photos of our house. I used the transparency arrow as a house shape to "house" my title. lol
I adore these flowers...I think they are my favorite flowers ever put out by a scrapbook company!

And last but not least, a card made with the #2 add on kit - some October Afternoon journaling cards and Basic Grey chipboard!
This add-on kit reminds me of picnics in the park. I just love it and wish I had more time to play around with it!

In other news, we had a play date yesterday and then spent the day at the fair today. Taylor had some art work that was going to be at the fair that was chosen by her school, but we couldn't find it! I was a little disappointed. We did have some fun on the rides, seeing the animals, and treating ourselves to shaved ice and cotton candy! Some of my fave pics from the day...Kati after eating shaved ice - with a nice blue tongue and a cooky curl in her face. :)

Friends, Kati and Adrianna..they are so cute together.
Cool sandcastle at the fair. One lady was misting it to keep it in tact.
Taylor on swings. She was braver this year, proud of her!
Taylor - on right of swings.
Our crazy friend Alexis went on this one! She is in the orange section!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope to be back with more to share soon of CHA sneaks!

The blue tongue is just too cute. It reminds me my cotton candy obsession when I was little.
