Good to be queen...

...for a day. Not me, but we are hosting the February birthdays in my husband's family here at our house tomorrow, so I've been busy making a few birthday cards! I love the Queen Bee line by Pink Paislee. The grays, greens and yellows together are so different and refreshing.

I used the frame stamp on the edge of the yellow piece and just stamped one edge of the frame. The sentiment was done with the computer, and the font is Edwardian.

I stamped the bees and bent up their wings for dimension. Did I mention I love dimension?! :)

The flower was a just piece of lace. I ran a running stitch with thread and a needle on one edge of the lace and then pulled the thread tight. The lace will bunch up and you can form it into a circle. There is a tutorial that I did previously here if you would like more of a visual on how to make this type of flower.

I will be teaching 3 classes again in Danbury, Connecticut next month, so if you are in that area, keep your eye out for more information coming soon. We may be doing some Pink Paislee projects with the new lines! :)
