I am in love with the shabby chic style. There is something so warm and cozy about it...worn and comfy like a soft quilt, imperfect and casual, so welcoming.
Supplies used: Fly a Kite - Ice Cream paper by October Afternoon, chipboard house by Riff Raff Designs, paint, resin photo corner and rub on saying by Melissa Frances, embroidery hoop from crafty supply, flowers and star pin by Maya Road, seam binding by Zipperstop - sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.
I had a blast creating a few cards for the Card Style issue of Paper Crafts! I just received this issue the other day and it is so inspiring to see all of the different styles and loved how they were laid out, with so many examples of each. My favorite thing about this challenge was picking out all the goodies that inspire me....buttons, pins, tickets, rub ons, paint/ink, ribbons and adding stitching too.
What is YOUR style?
Please leave a comment here and on each of the 18 mystery blogs in the hop, plus a comment both at the Paper Crafts Connection and Moxie Fab World blogs for 20 chances to win! These two blogs will show a portion of the prize package which is valued over $350. Three winners will be chosen.

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 307 of 307Lovely project! I admire those who create in the shabby & vintage style, although it's not what I'm most comfortable with. I'm more of a fun & cute or clean & graphic cardmaker...but every style inspires me to some degree!
What a great project to use Shabby Vintage on! It's super perfect!
omg this is stunning! love this!
Yep S&Vis my favourite too! Love that Fly A Kite paper and that shabbied painted frame is fabbo Danielle.
My style is shabby and vintage with sanding tossed out and the color from fun and cute thrown in.
Your project captures shabby chic to a "T". I tend to stay away from it (due to a fear of embellies) and go towards the clean and simple side, with a dash of cute every now and again!
I always adore your shabby chic cards and this is no exception.
Stunning card :)
Wow! That hoop idea is to die for! Love your project Danielle!
I tend to do my cards in the classic/elegant style. However, I am trying my hand at shabby chic. Love your project!!

This is a style I never get fed up of looking at I love this card Melissa is just wonderful at this style too! I can't say I have a style I like so many different techniques I can never stick to one I am a crafty butterfly I never know what I will come up with next ;0)
Love Dawn xx
I am soo not a shabby girl even though it is such a pretty style...I am a fun & cute kind a girl. TFS.
That's really cute! I tend to run somewhere between graphic and fun with a touch of classy/elegant as called for by the occasion. I like shabby chic/vintage but it's so far from my personality and personal style that I find it unlikely that I'll ever really step in that direction.
Your project is so beautiful! Love it!
I love your project.... just beautiful!
Very cute!!
I love your work!! What a great idea. I wish I could create more vintage and shabby.
Love it!!
OMG, $350 worth? really?!? I need more scrapbook stuff like I need a whole in my head, but I definitely need this!!!
Wow! Great project! My style is a combination of classy and elegant and clean and graphic! :)
My style is simple, but with each blog I visit I learn more and more.
I love your card - so beautiful!
I love to create in the shabby/vintage but I tend to lean to the fun and cute side too!
i don't have any particular style. I love drawing inspiration from beautiful creations regardless of the style feature.
Wowza! I love that card in an embroidery hoop! Beautiful! The cards I make are usually fun and cute, but I love the ones I make that are shabby chic. I can barely stand to give them away!
What an adorable project - LOVE it!! After seeing so many different cards and styles, I'm not really sure what style I am! I'm kind of a fun and cute gal, but I like parts of all the different styles. Maybe I'm just a hodge-podge gal!!
My style is clean and simple. I don't like to clutter my card or use alot of pp. I love your creation!
What a great idea using an embroidery hoops. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful!! Love everything about it!
Beautiful!
What a cute project! My style is more clean and graphic but I like to change it up by mixing other styles in.
Your decorated embroidery hoops are so beautiful. Love your style!

I've seen so many great cards and ideas on the blog hop.
Oh for goodness sake! Did you ever see anything so cozy and welcoming in your life? This card is genius!
I love this project! From the color to the design, it's got it all going on for me! Nicely done!
Oh wow is this amazing. Loved how you used something non-traditional for the card.
I don't know if I would have ever thought to put an embroidery hoop on a card. . . but it really works - love it! My style tends to be classy elegant with a little shabby mixed in. Thanks for the inspiration. :)
Hmm , probably more clean & graphic but I'm inspired by all styles. Love shabby chic but can't always pull it off!
My style depends on who I am sending it to.
Fun and cute for sure. Loved your card too!
I'm a shabby vintage girl and try to explore imaginative ways to use embellishments - though an embroidery hoop has not ever entered my mind - great idea!
Gorgeous project!!!
So creative and colorful!
Love your hoop - very cool and also love the saying.

My style is a mix between cute&fun and clean&graphic =)
Perfectly shabby, perfectly beautiful. Wish I could do this style like you.
This card is just beautiful!
My style is a blend of Clean & Graphic and Classy & Elegant. It isn't often that I make a Cute or Shabby card although I can't say never . . .
Nice design. I admire your creativity. I never thought that an embroidery hoop can be turned into a base of a card. =)
My style is mostly fun & cute but I've been trying to make some shabby cards. Love your card, so clever to use the embroidery hoop.
Beautiful project! I love classy elegant with a twist of vintage!
Love the shabby and the chic.
Your cards and projects are just scrumptious, Danielle! I too love the shabby/vintage style.
Danielle, I love your cards. Beautiful, beautiful works of art. My hope is to have one hang on my wall one day.
Really love your card!
My style's not really only one of those listed, but combinations, 'tho lately it's been toward the CAS style. Usually I just try my hand at whatever seems to work for the occasion or the intended card recipient. TFS and thanx for the blog candy opp!
I love shabby and vintage, too!
Such cool project. I guess my style is more Clean and Simple.
OH WOW! This is a beautiful creation! I love that you put it in an embroidery hoop! CLEVER!!!
I wish I was more shabby/chic/vintage..but I think (THINK) I'm fun and cute. I'm not really sure:)
Great project, full of shabby goodness. I think I tend towards the "fun & cute" style recently, but I do love the warmth & layering of shabby chic cards too.
I love your project - what a fabulous idea:)
Love the cute & sassy but wind up creating clean/fun mostly.
Love the shabby look!! so cute:)
I usually like cute and fun as well as classy and elegant styles. Thanks for your cute design on a shabby chic card and your photo reel has some really neat ideas on it! Thanks for the inspiration!
Great idea! I love to see what other paper projects are created!
Genius little card project! I love it. I love to look at Shabby Chic, but tend to make a mess when I try it out. I'm safer sticking with clean and simple!

I really love shabby but I tend to do more simple and clean but it really depends on my mood. lol
Love your project, great textures and so fun!
I am so not the shabby chic girl but love your card. I totally favor classic and elegant and clean and graphic cards so the shabby chic style is so foreign to me!

Ooh, I love this. I am a mix of clean & simple to elegant & classy. And all the styles in between. They should have a style called 'all of the above.'
Love your project - so cute! My style is the clean and graphic and classy and elegant. But i love your shabby chic!
I'm a fun & cute kind of girl!
YOur card is beautiful, but it is not my style at all. I love simple, classy, and elegant or cute and fun.
