Postmarks...

Welcome to the Papertrey Ink group post! Today we have a beautiful stamp set to share with you called Postmarks... I adore it's ease of use, really can be used for anything! I made a little mini album with a Melissa Frances resin frame for the front cover, added some different papers inside for the pages, even a felt page, some pockets and photos.
I bought these little pins at JoAnn's one day and new I could use them for something eventually! I like the smaller size of these stamps, so I thought of making little charms on them, then attaching the pin/charms to the front of a little mini album.
You can either adhere the little charms to the pin with an adhesive, or you also punch a hole and tie them on. Let me show you how I created the little stamp/butterfly charm.

First, I used one of the Postmarks papers from the new Postmarks paper pack to cut out the stamp! Place the die on the paper where you want it to cut and run it through your cutting machine. I placed mine over the word "Carte".
You'll end up with something like this:

Next, you will stamp the outside frame in a brown ink. (Excuse the red frame, I tried red first and changed my mind!) Don't worry if you don't get it perfect, the black will cover some of the brown.
Next, stamp the inside with a Postmarks filler stamp using Papertrey Ink's True Black Ink.

Lastly, stamp the butterfly with Papertrey Ink's Pure Poppy ink (red), cut out and adhere a small pearl to the center. Attach butterfly to stamp. Pop up the wings a bit.

You can punch a hole and tie it onto the charm pin if you want to. I just adhered mine onto it. If you have some kind of hard epoxy, it would be SO much fun to make a real charm bracelet with these images!! Maybe even clear embossing powder would be neat to try.

Other ideas I thought of with these "charms":
...how about pinning them onto the inside felt pages?
...or adding a tiny PHOTO inside the stamped image!

Once again, I'm anxious to see what the other gals made with the Postmarks stamps and die!
