25 Days of Christmas...

Today I'm taking part in a 25 Days of Christmas Tags blog hop with Tracey McNeeley, and I'll have a few things to share with you that I made with Fancy Pants products! First up is a gift package with a tag. The tag is a little bit unusual, in that it's not your typical tag...
It's a half globe ornament filled with a cute little scene. A tiny house made from the Fancy Pants Oh Deer! line and some mini trees from the line decorate the inside of the tag. The dies I used to cut the house, deer, snowman, and bases for the tag are from Papertrey Ink's Tinsel and Tags kits. (Looks like the add-on kit "Trimmings" with the little house die is out of stock right now.) The globe tag slides right on to a package wrap.
The base of the globe is cut with a die from Tinsel and Tags. It cuts out the slots, then you can slide a strip of paper through or a nice wide ribbon. I just used a teal patterned paper by Fancy Pants to wrap a clear box and then added another patterned paper strip through the tag to hold it on. The recipient can slide the globe off and use it as a decoration after receiving the gift!

Really love these little globes and can't wait to make more to adorn all my gifts this year!

Leave a comment here by Nov. 27th for your chance to win a prize from Reverse Confetti, Clearly Besotted, CAS-ual Fridays, Neat and Tangled, or Paper Smooches! And make sure to check out Tracey's blog each day for more 25 Days of Christmas Tags and chances to win!

Next, I'll share with you the rest of my Fancy Pants projects for the month. Here's a quick card, also made with the Oh Deer! line.
To cut out the snowflakes, I used Papertrey Ink's Damask Snowflakes die with some mica flakes on top. What a pretty combination, I'm in love with mica flakes lately! They just add that special sparkle!

Last is a set of gift card holders made with the Oh Deer! line again.

The bases are the Patterned Envelopes and Folders from Oh Deer!. Some of the Chalk Label Stickers and Mini Trees were used by Fancy Pants to dress these up. I stamped on them with Papertrey Ink's Season's Greetings stamp set, embossed them with white embossing powder and then added a bit of white ink over the top with my finger to make it look more like a chalkboard effect, but it's more permanent and doesn't rub off.

Visit the Fancy Pants blog to see more inspiration with their lines, and be sure to leave a comment for your chance to win a prize from the 25 Days of Christmas event! xo
