Snowflake Medallion...

Today I get to show you some new products coming out on September 15th at Papertrey Ink, the Snowflake Medallion dies and the new Christmas Cheer stamps and dies! First up, I have a set of place card holders. I used old spools and some dowels/skewers to create these.

Here is how I made these cute snowflake medallions!
First, I die cut two of the long pieces from the Snowflake Medallion dies and scored them along the score lines.
Next, I attached the ends of the two pieces together with Scor-Tape.

Then I pressed it down in the center to form the snowflake shape and glued the center onto the little die cut circle from Snowflake Medallion dies. I used a hot glue gun to hold it in place on the little circle in the center of the snowflake.
Last, I glued the center snowflake on top. I added some die cut words from Christmas Cheer dies and little tags stamped with Christmas Cheer stamps with the Tiny Tags dies and twine.
You could use these for cute holiday place card holders for your dinner table or add them to gifts! Or add little clothespins to the back of the snowflakes to hold photos.
The twine and wooden stars are hot glued onto the front.

Holiday Place Card Holders:
STAMPS: Christmas Cheer
INK: True Black, Pure Poppy
PAPER: white, Pure Poppy
DIES: Christmas Cheer, Snowflake Medallion, Tiny Tags
OTHER: twine, wooden stars (from next Make It Market mini kit previewing tomorrow), spools/tinsel by Melissa Frances.
______

Next is a little card made with the Snowflake Medallion dies and the new Enclosed: Bell stamps and dies.

Colors used are Pure Poppy, Scarlet Jewel and Sweet Blush, along with Classic Kraft cardstock in the background and Simply Chartreuse/Ripe Avocado inks. Really like this color combination.

The snowflake makes a cute little decoration to dress up the bell! I embossed a few of the leaves around the edges of the kraft cardstock to keep with the theme.

Wishing You Joy card:
STAMPS: Enclosed: Bell, Background Basics: Venice
INK: Pure Poppy, True Black, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado; Versamark
PAPER: White, Scarlet Jewel, Classic Kraft
DIES: Snowflake Medallion, Enclosed: Bell
OTHER: twine, seam binding, white embossing powder.
______

Last, I used the Snowflake Medallion dies (smaller snowflake) with Aqua Mist cardstock to surround this pretty stamped saying from O Holy Night stamps.

The O Holy Night saying is stamped twice, then a Phrase Play #8 die layered over the top.

Joy card:
STAMPS: O Holy Night
INK: True Black
PAPER: Aqua Mist, white; dark gray - craft supply
DIES: Snowflake Medallion, Phrase Play #8
OTHER: wooden stars (from next Make It Market mini kit previewing tomorrow).
