cupcake love...

Wow, I can't believe it's Thursday already! The days have been flying by. My girls have been off this week for a winter break, so we've been so busy! Today we are visiting the Planetarium to see a show about the stars and planets. I can't wait - should be fun to do something different! We need to learn a little while we are on break and not veg out TOO much on video games. :)
I wanted to show you a few new cards made with Little Yellow Bicycle's Cupcake Love line. They graciously sent me a TON of stuff to play with and I loved every bit of it! These colors are RIGHT up my alley. Love!

This one is a pre-made envelope that I added some die cuts, a sticker border and chipboard to. I tucked some tags in the pocket. They are sticky on the back, but I left the paper on the back of them, so you could still slide them in and out of the pocket! These tags are already stitched on and quick to use!
These little pre-made circles turned into balloons on this next card. Originally, I had machine stitched the balloon strings with a white zigzag, but then I realized they were hard to see and didn't really look like curly, cute balloon strings, so I ended up adding some floss to them to create balloon strings, and I like it much better now.
Aren't these little cardstock circles cute? Seriously easy too, all I did was peel and stick them to my card! The background of this card is made with LYB's 6x6" cardstock papers! Just folded it in half.
The last one is actually made with 2 journaling spots as my card base. They were rather long for my card, so I cut them down a bit. I made my own funky little banner out of chipboard, buttons and some crepe paper flowers I made myself.
Everything I used is from the Cupcake Love line by Little Yellow Bicycle! You could certainly do birthday cards with this line with all the cute cupcakes .... or love cards too.
You can see the supply lists and directions to make these at the Glue Arts blog today!

P.S. If you are interested in trying out for the Glue Arts team and working with some fabulous adhesive, not to mention LOTS of free product, see the Design Team Call here!

I just want to say how cute these projects are.
Wish you would do a kit every once in a while with instructions. The only craft store in my area is Hobby Lobby and they don't offer classes, nor do they have all the great stuff. Don't get me wrong I am thankful they are here. Anyhoo, love your pretties.
