a heavenly match...

Glue Arts has teamed up with Sizzix this month and I was shocked to receive a Sizzix Big Shot in the mail, along with some of their wonderful dies! I can't believe how generous they were to us!
On this first card, I used the Sizzix Bigz Die called Key & Keyhole to punch out the floral paper. The paper, stickers, large button and ribbon are all from Crate Paper's new Emma's Shoppe line. Oh how I love this line. I think it's my absolute favorite that came out at CHA this time!
Next, I punched some shaped dies from the Decorative Circles & Squares Set (set of 3) by Sizzix. The white one and the orange/pink one are cut with the label shaped die and the yellow floral is cut with the scalloped one from the set. I had fun layering them a bit. I used the white to help the other ones stand out a bit more against the kraft background.
I created a little rosebud with Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe ribbon, just wrapping it around and pinching it together at the bottom. Glue Arts' Extreme Adhesive Squares worked well to keep it in it's place!
The background is an Emma's Shoppe journaling card!  These cards would work wonderfully as Easter cards with the springy colors. Stop over to the Glue Arts blog to see more fun Sizzix projects!

p.s. Be watching the Crate Paper blog for a tutorial on how to make these little ribbon rose buds that I did on the second card!

OMGosh, Danielle! How gorgeous your cards are! You have totally rocked the Sizzix dies, my friend. I love, love this paper line, too, and I still don't have any of it yet. :( The colors are just beautiful, and you have such a knack for combining beautiful things. Such a treat to see!
And thank you so much for your kind words on my blog. You really made my day. :)
