Shutterbug special.

Welcome to the Papertrey Ink countdown festivities for July! We have a group post today featuring the new Shutterbug Special stamps and dies!
To make this card, I stamped the vintage camera in Classic Kraft ink onto a gingham tan patterned paper, then again with black ink and then cut that front part of the camera out an popped it up to give it dimension! The old cameras were so big and clunky, so I had to add the illusion of the front part of the camera sticking out with dimensional adhesive. I added the little heart from the stamp set in the center.

The camera is like a "polaroid", where it spits out a little saying! The card slides in and out.

You could certainly put a little picture on the slide-out tab, but I added some confetti behind a piece of acetate, stitched onto the tag. :)
I chose a vintage floral paper to go with the vintage camera, just seemed fitting to me. :)

Smile card:
STAMPS: Shutterbug Special
INK: Classic Kraft, True Black, Pure Poppy
PAPER: Crate Paper (floral), Dear Lizzy (chevron), Lily Bee (gingham), Fine Linen Pattern Pack by PTI (tan bitty dot), red cardstock
DIES: Shutterbug Special
OTHER: seam binding, Crate Paper brad.
------------

Now, you could totally use this CUTE stamp in your scrapbooks and project life books too! I stamped some of The Sweet Life flowers behind the camera to ground it a bit.
You could write more journaling or add another photo in the little pull-out tab!
I know it's hard to see, but I also used the Hello Sunshine "rays" behind the title/journaling!

You layout:
STAMPS: Shutterbug Special, The Sweet Life, Hello Sunshine
INK: Harvest Gold, Spring Moss, Simply Chartreuse, Sweet Blush, True Black, Pure Poppy
PAPER: Dear Lizzy, Crate Paper
DIES: Shutterbug Special, Fabulous Frames, Wonderful Words
OTHER: Pure Poppy button, Smash tape by K&Co.
------------

Even though I grew up with this camera in our house I didn't think it was anything I would want as a stamp...until seeing your post, Danielle. Amazing! I love how you popped out the front of the camera, just like it did in real life. And you're not even old enough to know about this camera, Girl!:)

GREAT card! Love the vintage camera image w/the mix of papers. Your s.b. design is fab! Like the variety of striped papers w/the pretty roses. Sweet pic, too. :)
