Vegetable Garden...

We're counting down to the new June stamp releases at Papertrey Ink, and today we have a group blog post for you to show you sneaks of the new Vegetable Garden stamps and dies! If you are a gardener, this is a must-have set! You can create a little journal of your gardening progress with photos, make tags to give with your veggies, create little stakes to mark where each veggie is in your garden with these cute veggie stamps... and so much more. You can mix and match this set with the older Garden Variety and Garden Variety II stamps as well.

First up, I made a tag with a small white glassine bag. I used the Half & Half dies to cut a tag from Aqua Mist Pattern Pack paper to insert into the pocket. For the front, I cut a Limitless Layers 2 1/4" heart. I used the new Vegetable Garden stamps and dies for the peas and the "vegetable" label. The little "spring" circle is from the Garden Variety II stamp set. "From my garden to your heart" is a stamp from Garden Variety.

I added a little tag under the heart with Soft Stone Pattern Pack paper cut with the Tag Sale #5 die and a "garden fresh" stamp from Vegetable Garden.

From My Garden to Your Heart tag:
STAMPS: Vegetable Garden, Garden Variety, Garden Variety II
INK: Spring Moss, Ripe Avocado, Aqua Mist, True Black
PAPER: white cardstock, Soft Stone and Aqua Mist Pattern Pack paper
DIES: Half & Half, Vegetable Garden, Limitless Layers 2 1/4" Hearts Die Collection, Tag Sale #5
OTHER: small white glassine bag, twine.

My second project uses the seed packet frame die. I went to town die cutting/stamping the veggies and ended up with a little mini album!

I mixed the Garden Variety stamp set with the new Vegetable Garden stamp set.
The Seed Packet Frame die was cut for each page with white cardstock and then I rubbed Fine Linen and Vintage Cream inks over the edges to soften them. I backed them with Classic Kraft Pattern Pack paper, then added a veggie to each page. The finished pieces were then attached to glassine bags.
I just love that radish!!
The Half & Half die was used once again, like on my tag above, to cut little tags using Soft Stone cardstock. I tucked them inside the glassine pockets. Here are some of the inside pages...
Even on the vegetable die cuts, I softened them with Vintage Cream ink around the edges.
As I was looking for inspiration, it seemed like all of the seed packets were brown and older looking, which is why I inked up the edges of the seed packet frame.
Last page, peas.
Seam binding holds the pages/pockets together in a little mini book!
Vegetable Garden Mini Album:

Totally blown away by your color choices. They really bring out the vintage qualities of the images. I also loved that you used the heart layers die set with the veggies. I've been looking at color palettes to try lately, and these are ones I will incorporate soon. Thank you!

How clever, Danielle, to incorporate the heart with the veggies! You are the Queen of mini albums I think, and this one is no exception. Now I also must add Kraft striped paper to my wish list. : )
