91 super sweet ideas....

Yay, it's finally here.....I'm so excited to be a part of this!!
I hope they don't mind if I give you one little sneak peek to one of my favorite pages in the book!
Got girls? This handy-dandy guidebook is here to help you make sure you capture all the essentials of who they are—the facets of their lives and personalities that matter most—in between all the holiday and event photos that describe what they do.

We invited five moms of girls (and only girls) to brainstorm a list of 20 essential “girly” topics and create stunning layout examples for each. They offered up their best ideas for making their girls’ layouts meaningful, authentic, and unique. And with 13 daughters, ranging in age from 3 to 16, these women know a thing or two about buttons and butterflies, princess costumes and prom dresses. Let's get girly!

p.s. Ella has an Essential Guide for Scrapbooking Boys, too!
Watch for it in September 2010.

I need this book. I'm a horribly challenged tomboy momma, who has been blessed with a beautiful girly girl. I am terrible with the hair bows, can't understand this whole Polly Pocket and Barbie thing, and really am at a loss why anyone would want to wear a dress every day when jeans are available....my poor suffering daughter deserves to have all her femininity captured...I need this book!

this looks wonderful...being a mommy to two girls for the past 14 years, I definitely have boxes and computer files full of girly photos that still needs to be scrapped!! ...and now that I have a two year old little boy I could definitely use the boy ideas coming out soon, I've been surrounded by nothing but girls for so long that I'm sure poor Carter's LO's have gone a little in the girly direction at times! haha :) thanks for the sneak peek

I was just looking at the email about this before I saw your post! I have one child - a daughter. She just started her fourth grade year and I am afraid it's all passing by more quickly than I can capture it! Any help I can get to make sure I remember these years and pass them on to her children is more than welcomed!

What a pretty sneak peek!!

I need to sort out my journalling for when my DD is older and looks at her layouts. I never write anything as I don't want to sound sickly sweet so therefore I just don't do any....I worry thatshe might misinterpret my words if I am not there to correct her and this could upset her....I worry that I might not sound like me..sad I know but I just can't push myself to do it.
Hopefully this book will be full of how to journal for those little princesses that one day might grow up to be strong leaders, presidents and queens!!
