Creative Cardmaker: Tags...

Today I have a quick post up on a couple of ideas using tags over at the Weekly Scrapper!

On this card, I've used the tags, labels and flair from the Happy Place line by Fancy Pants, designed by my sweet and super talented friend, Kim Watson! I've also added a Birthday Cheer die cut by Papertrey Ink.

Mini album giveaway winner...

Well, hello friends.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! Would you believe I did not get to make a card yesterday for World Card Making Day...just so busy with all of the kids stopping over and a sleepover. I tried to sit down a few times, but kept getting interrupted. But it's ok. I love having all of the kids here, so I know mine are safe and sound and are having fun. And...I make cards every other day of the year, right! :)

Just wanted to pop in with a couple of announcements...

burlap and bouquets...

Just a couple of cards for fun today made with Fancy Pants' new Burlap and Bouquets line...isn't it lovely? I just layered some of the Large Decorative Tags in the background, some of the Brag Cards on top of that, and then a few of the Ephemera pieces (florals).

On the Thanks card, I stamped the sentiment with Papertrey Ink's Thank You Kindly stamp set and added some gold twine. The "And" is from the Button Set. It's chipboard, and I love the dimension it gives!

I'm loving the color black lately. Not sure why, but I think it may be the contrast it lends with the other colors, just makes everything pop!
